Located in Bardstown, this unique property used to be the Old Nelson County Jail and housed prisoners from 1797 to 1987, earning its’ place on the National Registry of Historic Places. Each of the rooms has a different theme and some even have original features such as the Jail Cell room which houses two of the original jail-style bunk-beds.

At some point during the visit, you’ll be given a museum style tour of the property which is steeped in history. Tucked away from the road with 30 inch thick stone walls and heavy steel doors, you’re guaranteed a peaceful nights sleep as long as you don’t get disturbed by the resident ghosts!
